The Support of the Community
The Joe Raso Residence: Built By UHR with the Support of the Community
The creation of the Joe Raso Hospice Residence was made possible by the support provided by our community.
For the first time in Rockland County, families caring for a seriously ill loved one have the option of specialized residential end-of-life care in our community.
Seriously ill individuals who cannot – or do not wish to – remain at home can access residential end-of-life care without having to leave the community and distance themselves from their local support system of family, friends, neighbors, physicians and clergy.
Family members no longer have to juggle work and home responsibilities in order make time to visit their seriously ill loved one in a residential facility outside of Rockland.
Seriously ill individuals who choose to live at the JRHR will be able to spend their final days, weeks or months in comfort, with dignity and control over their environment and decisions about their care.
If you or someone you know is interested in receiving care at the residence, please call us at 845-634-4974. We will be happy to answer your questions and/or make arrangements to provide a tour. Click here to download a copy of the JRHR brochure.
