How You Can Help
There are many ways you can help support the mission of United Hospice of Rockland and help ensure our continued ability to provide comfort and care to individuals and families in our community today, tomorrow and in the future.
Become a Hospice Ambassador: tell your family and friends about the quality of care you experienced and how helpful our services were. Many people learn about hospice not from their medical providers, but from friends, neighbors and family members. Contact Donna Branca, UHR Director of Marketing and PR for more details.
Join us as a Hospice Volunteer: Some volunteers work directly with patients and families; other support our work by providing administrative support in the office; still others assist with our many fundraising projects and events. Click here to learn more about volunteer opportunities or contact the UHR Volunteer coordinator.
Invite a Hospice representative to speak at your church, synagogue, civic organization, school or place of employment. We can offer valuable information about hospice services, including our comprehensive Hope & Healing Bereavement Program, as well as education about pertinent issues such as advance directives. Contact Donna Branca, UHR Director of Marketing and PR for more details.
Write about your Hospice experience: post it on our Facebook page, tweet it on our Twitter Page, submit it to a local newspaper or newsletter.
